Involved in the business of providing specialists on a global basis to the energy sector for the execution of large scale complex projects.Key Responsibilities:  - Collaboration with supplier, sub-contractor and end-user to ensure projects meets all project-specific requirements, including, but not limited to, quality assurance specs, ITP, WPS and PQRs and documentation. - Verification that supplier meets all requirements specified on drawings, engineering standards and the contract. - Expedite responses to design changes and ensure follow up at the shop. - Visual weld inspection and non-destructive examinations to ensure accordance with drawings and specifications identified in the contract. - Generation of a regular, formal inspection/expediting reports and digital photos detailing which components were inspected, overall quality, deficiencies, percent complete, and any other quality-related issues. - Non-conformance reporting in accordance with suppliers engineering standards. - Inspection at loading to ensure no handling/loading damage and no compromise of dimensional stability. - Expediting steel fabricated structures such as SCR fabrications, including reactor modules, ductwork, hopper and cap with all facets including purchase order requirements, engineering and design activities, drawings and production schedules.

Specialty fabrication and machining, offshore services, project management and dockside marine refits and repair.Key Responsibilities: - development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and modification of an internal quality assurance system to ensure that performance and quality products conform to company and regulatory standards. - review, analysis and reporting of quality non-conformance's to identify cause and advise on corrective actions to prevent future occurrence. - collaboration with manufacturing, customer, vendor and/or subcontractors to ensure all requirements are met and to maintain working relationships to maximize success of the quality program. - oversight of all aspects of shipbuilding including heavy steel fabrication, testing and finishes to ensure they meet with company quality standards. - ability to interpret and provide direction regarding industry quality standards and workmanship specifications to put quality into the processes. - development of inspection test plan from customer specifications and company/industry standards for mechanical, structural and paint finish processes. - Creation and presentation of required quality reports. - ensuring company meets or exceeds required Canadian Welding Bureau standards (W47.1 and W47.2) and those of other applicable regulatory bodies, as required. - provisions of processes (new and old) and training/education of company employees via drawings, specifications and/or standards. - maintenance and tracking of all required Canadian Welding Bureau and Department of Labour documentation (i.e. weld procedures and testing). - development of new weld methods and procedures. - coordination of and performance in weld tests including, but not limited to, non destructive testing.

Fabrication of food machinery, environmental equipment, industrial equipment and marine equipment including aluminum boats up to 65 feet.Key Responsibilities: - development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and modification of an internal quality assurance system to ensure that performance and quality products conform to company and regulatory standards. - review, analysis and reporting of quality non-conformance's to identify cause and advise on corrective actions to prevent future occurrence. - collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and/or subcontractors to ensure all requirements are met and to maintain working relationships to maximize success of the quality program. - oversight of all aspects of shipbuilding including heavy steel fabrication, testing and integration, subsystem installation, ships propulsion, power, heating and cooling, control and finishes to ensure they meet with company quality standards. - ability to interpret and provide direction regarding industry quality standards and workmanship specifications to put quality into the processes. - quality-related SOP development to ensure compliance in procedures and to standards. - development of inspection test plan from customer specifications and company/industry standards for mechanical, structural and paint finish processes. - ensuring company meets or exceeds required Canadian Welding Bureau standards (W47.1 and W47.2) and those of other applicable regulatory bodies, as required. - maintenance and tracking of all required Canadian Welding Bureau and Department of Labour documentation (i.e. weld procedures and testing). - development of new weld methods and procedures. - coordination of and performance in weld tests including, but not limited to, non destructive testing. - development of and training on welding skills training programs for company employees.
