Chipsalz, Inc., was born in San Clemente and raised in Mission Viejo, California by Scott Levin. From its earliest beginning in 1992, Scott was committed to creating a brand that would pioneer a higher quality standard and presentation in the memory reseller community. Beginning with the implementation of repeatable and measurable quality standards to ensure our customers can go right from the receiving area to their next destination point. While the general reseller market was still accepting shipments of memory modules in static bags or other loose ESD packaging options, Chipsalz began exclusively shipping memory modules in ESD trays and tension straps. Chipsalz exceptional presentation was immediately contagious. Our customers and suppliers began purchasing packaging from our stock and this is how our ESD packaging division was born.In 2016, we introduced a full line of ESD memory packaging, which went far beyond configurations we used, but also supported the variety of markets our customers served. With configurations ranging from single through bulk packaging, Chipsalz continues to follow-through on our value-added commitment. As of 2018, we added 2.5” and 3.5” storage packaging and optics packaging for SFP and QSFP products. Navigating the memory market cycles can be a risky business and it is paramount to have strategic suppliers with the right resources and product ready to ship.
