Responsible for complete Genesys Customer Interaction Management (Avaya G3 PBX, Genesys Telecom Call Routing and Email Routing, Avaya Intuity Voice Mail System, Nice Systems Freedom Recorders and AS/400 Screenpops) for a $200M travel company. Avaya IP Agent and IP Soft phones used for remote agents.

• Responsible for extensive PBX and VM infrastructure of Nortel PBX’s and Octel Voice Mail systems for a 950-attorney law firm with offices on three continents.
• Responsible for a $3 Million annual telecommunications budget including: LD vendors, MPLS vendors, audio conferencing vendors, wiring vendors, local exchange vendors, PBX/VM maintenance vendors, cost recovery vendors.
• To lower overall costs, installed integrated Nortel audio conference bridges and a Polycom MGC Video bridge.
• Planned and deployed Voice over IP phones to staff and attorneys (hard phones and soft phones) at various office locations across the U.S. as well as London.
• Managed a staff of full-time telecommunications engineers.
• Developed and issued multiple RFP’s for: long distance, PBX maintenance, VM maintenance, infrastructure wiring, UPS systems, unified messaging, and audio conferencing.

• Managed $2.5 Million telecommunication budget including capital purchases, domestic and international long distance, cellular users, PBX maintenance, audio conferencing, and Internet connections.
• Generated over $1 Million of savings during my tenure by resolving contractual issues (one of which was eliminating a $600k penalty from MCI/WorldCom).Solely responsible to company’s complete telecom administration..
