Line maintenance mechanic.

• Supervise all maintenance activity during shift and provide proper direction. Ensure repairs and work practices are adequately performed in accordance with applicable methods to ensure safety and to avoid repeats.• Coordinate the timely completion of aircraft inspections and repairs. • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft turbine engine power plants.• Troubleshoot and repair ground service equipment diesel and gasoline engines, suspensions, brakes and all installed systems.• Troubleshoot and repair of AC & DC electrical and electronic systems utilizing system schematics, wiring diagrams and test equipment.• Troubleshoot and repair of pneumatic systems.• Troubleshoot and repair of hydraulic systems utilizing test equipment and tooling.• Perform and assist with sheet metal repairs utilizing manufacturer and company blue prints and drawings. Communicate with engineers to obtain proper repair documentation.• Enforce policies and procedures, both regulatory and company.• Provide Shift personnel with daily goals and workload requirements.• Coordinate all technician and cleaner lunch break times to ensure no disruption to the daily operation.• Perform group and individual coaching and counseling sessions and conduct annual performance reviews.• Conduct random daily and monthly inspections of work area cleanliness.• Enforce policies and procedures both Federal and Company, as well as all inspection and safety needs.• Assist company IT department with local network and computer issues. Troubleshoot computer hardware and software problems.

Monitor the status of all aircraft out of service for scheduled or unscheduledmaintenance.• Document shift activities in the MCC Daily Activity Report.• Provide oversight of deferred maintenance items. This responsibility includesthe auditing of all deferred maintenance item entries to verify the data iscorrect.• Issue a control number for Class A DMI.• Verify the maintenance information entered into the Flight Dispatch Systemand the Maintenance controls Module are correctly entered and accurate.• Update the Maintenance Control Module to reflect the current maintenancerequirements.• Verbally communicate with the appropriate dispatcher for approval to defer adeferred item containing a performance penalty, operational limitation ordispatch restriction.• Direct any on-call maintenance performed to ensure the applicablemaintenance manuals, and CFRs are adhered to. This responsibility alsoincludes updating Company databases to ensure they reflect the mostcurrent information.• Monitor all third party maintenance being accomplished.• Notify the MCC Duty Manager when an aircraft experiences a second flightexception (rejected takeoff, air turn back, diversion) within a 30 day periodwhen the event is caused by the same discrepancy.• Carry out all CAT II and RVSM Responsibilities.• Expedite the return to service of aircraft in stations not having the necessaryresources by coordinating the movement of parts, tooling, and/or manpower,as required.• Issue Ferry Flight Permit and any additional responsibilities within companypolicies.• Respond to incoming radio calls related to maintenance issues.• Monitor aircraft undergoing maintenance and updates their status asnecessary.• Track aircraft due for service and/or daily maintenance.• Notify the respective lead AMT or designee which aircraft requiremaintenance.
