I have worked in the industry since 1987 and have spent majority of these years as a manager !Did my apprenticeship with Dewhurst butchers ,Left for Leo’s supermarket , then worked for a local butcher in Beverley for 7 years left due to him retiring , then moved to Hessle where I worked for a local butcher for 7 years , then was head hunted and moved to Gary Aldens where I’ve been for over 17 years .I have helped take this company from strength to strength one of the roles I took in when I started working there was to build our catering side of the business , he had around 4/5 catering orders when I first started , we currently have between 45 - 50 catering orders we have never gone and chased orders we get these on the reputation I have built over the years of doing the job right , understanding the customers and working with them to produce the products they want .
