These activities included making sales calls on various customers, identifying problem areas in manufacturing, and performing tool tests for process optimization. Setup and operated CNC equipment for the production of component parts for large DC electric motors. Proficient in using Custom Macro B on Fanuc controls as a way to generate programs for CNC equipment. Inspected parts using precision measuring instruments to insure compliance to the part drawing. While in the tool room, I gained experience using knee mills, engine lathes, surface grinders, and heat-treat ovens. My main responsibility here would be to repair or reproduce broken machine parts when applicable. Responsible for designing and manufacturing various fixtures and tooling.
