Since joining Triage in 2010, Scott has worked with hospital systems across California, Washington, Texas, and New Mexico. Scott has focused on leveraging data, enhancing processes, and constantly collaborating towards delivering excellent client service. Beginning in 2016, Scott led the development of Triage’s services in hospital coding, beginning with Triage’s Inpatient Coding Review, followed by Triage’s Outpatient and Charge Capture products; Scott also managed the roll-out of Machine Learning within Triage and partnered in re-engineering Triage's review of pharmaceutical underpayments. As a Manager, Scott led the ICD-10 roll-out at Triage, delivering company-wide trainings, enhancing Triage’s services, and updating our data framework. As Head of Product, Scott’s mission is to enhance Triage’s products towards providing the best possible revenue cycle safety net. He focuses on constantly expanding coverage and depth of review, applying technology to increase Triage’s speed in delivering results, and augmenting Triage’s best-in-class reporting; he is passionate about coming to work alongside the extremely talented people around him and collaborating cross-functionally. Scott graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a B.S. from the Haas School of Business. In his free time, Scott is an avid reader, particularly of science fiction and fantasy, and is passionate about the outdoors, backpacking, swimming, and running.
