• Led a newly formed team in developing Battery Management Systems and electrical power handling for battery packs at Sion Power Corporation.• Established document control, firmware coding standards, PCB and schematic methods, and project management processes to streamline operations.• Implemented hazard analysis, DFMEA, and 8D failure analysis to ensure product quality and safety.

Managed the new firmware team and led commercialization development of the company’s patent-pending flexible battery management system (Flex BMS) for a variety of applications from 12 Volts to 1,000 Volts. Developed and validated the company's first consumer (non-OEM) product. Implemented various protocols including CANopen, J1939, and USB serial. Managed a variety of customer integrations from boats to lift trucks to solar arrays.

Recruited to complete coding initiative for company’s first complete BMS for a specific customer.
