Also managed the REIT facilitation book from 2007 to end CY 12 for pricing individual names and portfolios. Contacting clients on a daily basis with regards to business/ information flows and providing market views/ updates and value-added calls. Morning calls on overnight moves and potential movement with clients open orders. Marketing of research strategy/ideas as provided by the research department and providing value-added views. Monitoring equity orders and understanding potential interest names and levels to retain that order flow. Dealing and understanding where block trade opportunities exist and having the capability and trust from the client base to open up on these opportunities. Monitoring and analysing liquidity, price and market movements of client’s orders and providing regular updates. Maintaining and implementing a database for trade analysis using IRESS and Bloomberg to provide immediate assessment of trade executions against standard benchmarks (trade average, VWAP, open/close, high/low). Relaying additional flows or block trade opportunities to clients on a live basis throughout the day without jeopardising your clients order flow. Understanding corporate activity and trade regulations for the execution on Buy Backs and Capital Raisings. Ability to manage and execute bookbuild trade process.

Trading European and US markets and advising institutional clients. Order management and advising on moves and economic data releases and price movement impact throughout the night sessions. Executing futures and options orders on various exchanges and in-house trading platforms. Updating clients on relevant market economic related data and price movements and price call levels.Advising and executing ADR equity moves and FX conversion for AUD listing.

Futures trading floor trader in the 10yr bond pit. Also covered other pits i.e 3yr and SPI pits. Understanding of non-automated prices and the execution of trades with open out-cry. Advising corporate and institutional clients and updating clients on moves and thoughts.
