Something that had not been previously deployed. This provided, controlled and managed Internet access for all users, and increased Internet availability by more than 45% Spearheaded a security implementation project that provided adequate segmentation and isolation, controlling access to sensitive resources from within the campus network while allowing workflow to continue in a productive fashion Started a program at the college that provided peer mentoring and job shadowing opportunities for students in the surrounding school districts who expressed an interest in the Information Technology field Served as the Project Manager of a project that migrated the institution’s Novell Netware infrastructure to a Microsoft Windows NT platform serving a variety of clients including Macintosh, Windows9x, Windows NT and Linux. This implementation enabled to sharing of resources previously not possible including printer sharing, file sharing, network based fax services, CD Server technologies and single logon Implemented a Managed AntiVirus solution that required all computers connecting to the college’s network to have appropriate software installed including current virus definitions. The result was a decline of over 62% in reports of corrupted and lost files as well as inoperable/unbootable computers

Responsibilities included the proto-typing, debug, environmental testing and repair of microprocessor based command and control systems, field service test sets, transponders and tone decoders. Products incorporated the use of RF, digital and analog technologies. Responsible for coordinating the transition of products from the engineering and post qualification to production. This process included the training of personnel in the theory of operation and test procedures of the new product to include post design support.
