Current►Lead $10.6B global capital new build program consisting of DP3/DP2 drillships and semis, deepwater moored semis, and high specification jack ups.►Direct operations, budget, planning, vendor selection, customer interface, safety, delivery, acceptance, & logistics. ►Manage three Vice Presidents and 325 employees in China, Singapore, Brazil, Dubai, the Netherlands, Korea, and the United States.►Member of senior management team tasked with developing new business opportunities, increasing ROI, and assessing and managing risk. ►Lead new build contract negotiations with major international shipyards.►Grew and developed engineering team from 50 to 325 people.►Direct project teams in planning structural, electrical, and mechanical design layout to improve drilling efficiency and safety.►Improved safety performance of global shipyard projects by crafting and implementing new safety initiatives.►Implemented structured process to pre-commission/commission state-of-the-art drilling rigs and equipment.►Significantly reduced downtime during first six months after startup by structuring vessel delivery to meet customers’ global requirements.►Ensure customer performance expectations are consistently fulfilled by interfacing with customer to spec out an operationally focused, safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant purpose-built vessel.►Delivered 22 rigs during tenure.►New build program recognized in 2015 as “Best in Class” by Lloyds List Award.
