• Management and Field Operations- Manage up to 20 employees on the maintenance of multiple properties within the GTA on a year-round basis- Motivate staff to achieve service excellence and exceed customer expectations- Develop staff by working with them to build and support a team environment- Manage winter dispatch team working on 24/7 rotating shifts- Co-ordinate on-site activities with other work crews and the Construction and Irrigation Divisions - Establish work schedules for both summer and winter work- Monitor staff performance, conduct regular evaluations and participate in the hiring and termination process• Customer Relations- Proactively listen and assist in resolving customer service issues- Attend Condo Board and AGM meetings for existing and potential clients- Manage multiple properties (up to 60 condo and commercial sites) - Conduct site visits and plan jobs, assess work completed and review upgrades needed• Administration- Participate in creating the budget for summer and winter seasons- Prepare, monitor and verify timesheets for payroll- Communicate with customers on the phone or via e-mail to address customer concerns- Participate in weekly maintenance meetings, bi-weekly tailgate sessions, monthly department and operation meetings• Safety- Management representative of the Joint Health and Safety Committee- Actively support the health and safety program- Conduct training and safety, as required, while on each job site- Ensure correct working procedures are followed
