I was the Commonwealth representative in the Western Sydney City Deal Delivery Office.

I represented the Australian Government’s interests in the planning and design of Western Sydney Airport. Responsibilities included:- Managing technical reviews of design documentation and briefing senior executive on design risks and solutions.- Providing advice to Ministers and senior executive on airport planning matters.- Leading engagement with key government stakeholders.

I was the senior departmental representative in a Ministerial office. Responsibilities included:- Managing all briefings and information requests between the Minister’s office and the department.- Coordinating Cabinet and other sensitive and time-critical documents.- Responding to enquiries from the public, Ministers, Members of Parliament, and senior executive from government agencies.

I led a small team developing the strategy for biodiversity offsets for the Western Sydney Airport. Responsibilities included:- Delivering the strategic plan for the largest single offsetting initiative in Australia on time and on budget, required prior to construction commencing on the airport. - Drafting, reviewing and providing policy advice on technical reports and commercial business cases.- Managing contracts for technical services with two consulting firms with critical deliverables.
