Liaison Engineering customer representative for three airlines. Maintained status updates, provided Engineering responses to questions/concerns, and followed the aircraft through production. Perform composite and metallic stress analysis, systems/electrical analysis, root-cause corrective action investigation, and drawing error correction. Extensive work with repair of aircraft composites including carbon, aramid, and fiberglass laminates. Work in cooperation with Design Engineers, Stress Engineers, Materials Engineers, and FAA Authorized Representatives to ensure aircraft safety and approve deviations to aircraft Type Design. 5-S Liaison Engineering focal. Led group to obtain 5-S Level 4 and exceeding corporate LEAN goals. Process Improvement Project for Boeing Commercial Airplanes:Designed and implemented a Quality process change impacting all programs within Boeing Commercial Airplanes to reduce cost and improve schedule. New process reduced flow time from identification of discrepant condition to Mechanic return-to-work.
