Scott is a mining professional who has been working in the Resources industry since 1996, Scott has international experience working in both operations and consulting roles across multiple commodities. Scott worked with Normandy Mining Ltd (taken over by Newmont) for 6 years across 3 operating mines, open pit gold in New Zealand, underground base metals in Western Australia and large scale open pit gold in Western Australia. During Scott's consulting time, has been seconded to operations needing support including iron ore and laterite nickel operations.Scott has held site supervision, technical management and project management roles over his career. Since joining SRK in 2001, Scott has been involved in international consultancy work, with recent work being project management for studies, due diligence / project evaluations and technical reviews. Scott is a former Director with SRK and a current Practice Leader within SRK.Scott is a proficient planning engineer and is hands on with the tools. Scott has niche experience with surface mining equipment, IPCC and trolley assist systems.Scott has attained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from the University of Auckland in New Zealand, and is a is a registered Chartered Professional and Fellow of the AusIMM. Scott is a recognised competent person for Ore Reserve estimation and stock exchange reporting of most commodities. Recent Ore Reserve estimates published to JORC or NI43-101 standards for project include lead, uranium, rare earths, bauxite, iron ore, and scheelite.
