I was transferred to Watpac Construction midway through 2009 and became a WHSO on the TRI project at the P.A Hospital.

I started as a plastic welder charged with constructing a 74 km poly pipeline across harsh terrain with a team of trades assistants. Once the pipeline was completed I worked with multiple trades doing varying projects as a part of the maintenance team. I worked along side Anglo Coal Safety Department looking after sub contractor safety. I became civil leading hand for the construction of the Lake Lindsey project at German Creek before returning to Brisbane for family reasons.
