I was elected as a Local Team Representative (LTR) through local elections. In this role my duties are varied but they mainly consist of liasing and negotiating between the needs of the business and employees. These negotiations are based on a number of issues ranging from pensions, centre operations, holiday allocations etc. I attend meetings up and down the country as they're held in various locale throughout the UK including London Paddington and Birmingham. In this role my duties are varied but they mainly consist of liasing and negotiating between the needs of the business and employees. These negotiations are based on a number of issues ranging from pensions, centre operations, holiday allocations etc. I attend meetings up and down the country as they're held in various locale throughout the UK including London Paddington and Birmingham. These meetings could be regarding employee engagement and AGM's too. I also represent employees in performance & disciplinary meetings, I act as a companion and advise employees on the respective policy the meeting is regarding. I ensure the respective policy has been applied correctly and it has been followed by the employee & manager. This is a simple overview of the role and all work is carried out between my main role duties in social media. It is my responsibility to liase with my own manager and arrange time to attend meetings, organise travel and meet to advise individuals and a variety of queries. Show less

Technical Co Ordinator encompassed both technical and customer service skills. Dealing with specific cases and seeing these through to a successful outcome whilst working within SLA's meant that I was dealing with a number of departments and had to have good working relationships with them. Keeping up to date and ahead of handsets/devices and their respective software updates/limitations was expected of this role also.
