Over my 20 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry I have developed many valuable skills and competencies. I have been fortunate enough to work in an offshore environment for over 18 years which has given me valuable experience and understanding of the dynamics and workings of an offshore platform. Particularly the Forties Field where I have been commissioned for the last 13years, giving me valuable working knowledge on various client’s Trees and Wellheads and has taught me to think fast. I enjoy taking part in problem solving activities when issues arise and don’t back down from a challenge. I have strong organizational skills which I demonstrate in my current role and have developed the confidence to communicate with clients at all levels. I am skilled in working within a team or independently to get the job done in the most cost-effective manner, always keeping safety as the main priority. I feel my advice is trusted by my superiors and am not shy to communicate any concerns relating to safety and hazards with all levels of management. I have always kept good working relationships with people and that’s down to my understanding of others and strong communication skills. I am a fast learner and eager to progress in my career.
