• Provide high quality strategic and tactical expertise, guidance, and support in all areas of HR to include employee and employer relations, HR and labor law compliance issues, disciplinary and performance management, recruiting, hiring, and retention strategies, benefit funding and selection, job descriptions, training• Employee/Public Relations-Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of management and employees, act as a liaison with legal counsel and outside vendors• Create and develop best HR practices to include Employee Handbooks, policies and procedures, compensation and benefit plans in order to attract and retain top quality employees• Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance to include OSHA, workers compensation, FMLA, FLSA, payroll and other federal and state regulations• Oversee entire recruiting process to include advertising, screening, pre-employment testing, interviewing, selecting, analyzing and reporting• Maintain records of benefit plans, participation, personnel transactions and employee statistics for government reporting• Plan, create and conduct new employee orientation and other personnel training • Review, research, select, and administer benefit programs to include life, health, dental, disability, 401k, vacation, sick leaves, leaves of absence and employee assistance• Administer all aspects of payroll utilizing the payroll system, which includes third party vendor software and maintain all related payroll records.
