I now have 30 years of financial services experience within the LBG Group, with an excellent knowledge of Group Information Technology - the systems, applications and the people. In the past I have personally been involved in set up ventures such as Sainsbury’s Bank, Intelligent Finance and Bank of Scotland Banc Assurance, integrations with Halifax, Bank West, Bank of Wales, British Linen Bank and more recently divestment activity for TSB and Sainsbury’s Bank.In addition to marketing, banc assurance, service management, business development and relationship management skills, in the past few years I have developed and obtained a sound appreciation of the regulations, vulnerabilities, threats and operational risks facing the financial services industry in a rapidly changing environment and utilised this in my roles within the Risk and Control Community. I remain passionate about maintaining and exceeding the required standards required in protecting the firm’s assets and providing a safe and secure environment to enable the organisation to achieve the strategic goals.I am very competent and at ease in articulating technical and associated risk with business areas and implementing plans to ensure that appropriate governance is maintained.
