While working with KPMG, Scott earned his CPA and had broad exposure to Real Estate, Banking, Healthcare and Non-profit. Scott left public accounting to spend the last 38 years in the Real Estate Industry developing and implementing strategic plans with financial and operational controls. His expertise has been applied to Land Development, Construction (Commercial, Multifamily, Retail and Single-Family), Investment Acquisition, Investment Disposition, Asset Management and Property Management. Scott has also been very successful developing and implementing financing structures using capital from Banks, Life Companies, CMBS, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, as well as derivative instruments and alternative forms of debt and equity financing restructures. Scott A. Mortimore has his undergraduate degree in Accounting from California State University – Sacramento and his graduate degree in Business from Golden Gate University with a concentration in Finance.
