I have served 30 years as an Environmental Science and Engineering Officer, Medical Service Corps Officer, within the U.S. Army. Past noteworthy assignments include Public Health Emergency Officer for U.S. Army health clinics in Europe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, commander/director of Fort Leavenworth Army Health Clinic, public health department deputy director for U.S. Army installations in Hawaii, senior public health consultant for all U.S. and North Atlantic Treaty Organization forces within Afghanistan, Readiness and Resiliency Program Coordinator for Fort Bragg in North Carolina, medical intelligence analyst within the Defense Intelligence Agency, and chief of the Environmental Health Engineering Division at the U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine District Center at Fort Meade, Maryland. I also had the opportunity to work in the public health consultancy field as an intern with the Logistics Management Institute for ten months. I have extensive expertise in environmental health, vector control, water quality surveillance, food service sanitation, outbreak investigations, pandemic preparedness, vaccination operations, and industrial hygiene and expertise in responding to public health emergencies within the U.S. and abroad.
