I’ve always done things differently.I took college classes at 12, started working at 15, and founded my first company at 18. Being self-employed for a few years quickly taught me what it actually means to be in business. It’s not the glorified version you often hear about, however, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.In 2011, my business partner and I founded DesignFluxx, LLC by merging our two competing firms. We built a constantly evolving digital agency that pushes our clients to be leaders in their industries — not followers. We originally opened offices in Apple Valley, California, and then expanded and settled in Long Beach, California, serving hundreds of clients across 19 states. After a few years, we changed our primary vision to include building companies we had an equity interest in, versus taking clients’ projects on an hourly or retainer basis.In 2015, we acquired ROMWOD (Range of Motion Workout of the Day), originally a client of the firm. Combining our talents with our new partners and key staff has resulted in romwod.com expanding its membership to include users in 100+ countries and has since rebranded to what is now known as pliability.
