Working closely with legislators local businesses and organizations to advocate for educational issues i.e., Carl Perkins Funding and Adult Workforce Development Programs at the state and federal levels. Established strong partnership with business/industry, local civic organizations as well developed a meaningful educational post-secondary pathways for my students to continue their education after high school. This has led the program to be nationally recognized. Successfully secured $200,000 grant from Emerson Climate Foundation. Excellent networking and relationship building skills. -Built strong and lasting partnerships by working closely with an active 40 member advisory committee team consisting of business owners, state legislators, U.S Congressman, manufacturers, and wholesalers from Clark, Darke, Miami, Shelby Montgomery, and Hamilton Counties.-Developed Post-Secondary Pathway working with our Adult Education Department, Edison Community College, Miami University and Emerson Climate Technologies to provide 2+2+2 agreement for students to earn 18 semester hours towards Mechanical Engineering degree. -Co-Developed/launched with Fahlgren Mortine marketing firm and Emerson Technologies a unified strategy theme “CoolSchoolHotCareer” campaign to promote enrollment and recruiting efforts in the Environmental Controls Program. -Conduct apprenticeship and early placement employer/student site visits observing performance and job safety. -Coordinate with employers and labor organizations in placing students in apprenticeship and early placement pathways. -Coordinate guest speakers i.e. businesses, community and educational partners to discuss career awareness, soft skills, goal setting, entrepreneurship and other relevant topics -
