Over twenty five years of experience as a professional educator taking a variety of leadership roles in my district. Working closely with legislators local businesses and organizations to advocate for educational issues i.e., Carl Perkins Funding and Adult Workforce Development Programs at the state and federal levels. Established strong partnership with business/industry, local civic organizations as well developed a meaningful educational post-secondary pathways for my students to continue their education after high school. This has led the program to be nationally recognized. Successfully secured $200,000 grant from Emerson Climate Foundation. Excellent networking and relationship building skills. -Built strong and lasting partnerships by working closely with an active 40 member advisory committee team consisting of business owners, state legislators, U.S Congressman, manufacturers, and wholesalers from Clark, Darke, Miami, Shelby Montgomery, and Hamilton Counties.-Developed Post-Secondary Pathway working with our Adult Education Department, Edison Community College, Miami University and Emerson Climate Technologies to provide 2+2+2 agreement for students to earn 18 semester hours towards Mechanical Engineering degree. -Co-Developed/launched with Fahlgren Mortine marketing firm and Emerson Technologies a unified strategy theme “CoolSchoolHotCareer” campaign to promote enrollment and recruiting efforts in the Environmental Controls Program. -Conduct apprenticeship and early placement employer/student site visits observing performance and job safety. -Coordinate with employers and labor organizations in placing students in apprenticeship and early placement pathways. -Coordinate guest speakers i.e. businesses, community and educational partners to discuss career awareness, soft skills, goal setting, entrepreneurship and other relevant topics

-Responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining a comprehensive system and an effective adult education program throughout the district.-Monitors and assures departmental compliance with critical district, state, and federal requirements.-Provides district leadership regarding current trends, best practices, and promising innovations in adult educational programs and processes.- Oversee, manage, and allocate the District Workforce Education Budget; prepares and manages budgets for the department for adult education programs.- Supervises the development of curriculum, instructional methods, and accountability for all adult education programs.-Directs, formulates, and implements multi-year and annual plans for the Adult Education grant application; monitors instructional and financial activities to ensure compliance.-Develops and oversees a district-wide post-secondary career technical education marketing plan to promote career and technical education programs.-Coordinates the development of grants, project proposals, and interagency contracts. -Plans, implements, and monitors selected grants and required DOE documents.-Encourages and facilitates the involvement of the corporate community and community partners in the ongoing operation and evaluation of career technical adult education programs.-Oversees data collection, analysis, and reporting of career adult education information.-Responsible for district development and deployment of new career technical adult programs.-Establishes and maintains close working relationships with community and industry groups, and area economic development agencies.

Surveying existing buildings (for retrofits), identifying opportunities for improvement, and gathering necessary data regarding energy use, building functions, and structural characteristics.• Completing preliminary designs, proposal data, and costs.• Collaborating with our Purchasing Department regarding price, delivery, and other specs for purchased items.• Coordinating installation procedures among Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders.• Supervising jobs onsite as required, including leveraging your design expertise in a hands-on capacity to solve emergent operational problems.Assisting in writing letters, memos, contracts, change orders, and other documents related to the project.• Providing the customer with energy performance data.

Instructor of the Certificate Mechanical Engineering Technology Program * Assisted with the revision of several Mechanical Engineering Courses for the Certificate Program* Co-developed first online MET 186 Industrial Refrigeration course. This course is being taken by high school apprentice students enrolled in the Upper Valley Career Center
