Developed novel computational and experimental methods to study epigenetic dysregulation associated with cancer progression at single molecule resolution. Research focused on using 3rd generation, long read sequencing to reveal changes in epigenetic state associated with metastasis.

Designed and taught new curriculum for Biocomputing Algorithms (BMI203) focusing on the fundamentals of sequence data processing and machine learning applications for genomics. Additionally organized and taught an Introductory Bootcamp which included short seminars on introductory bioinformatics for first-year graduate students.
