Scott's earlier involvement in the engineering industry was the experience gained as a junior engineer working on the ventilation system on the construction of the Sydney Harbour Tunnel and later during the start up stages of Kidston Gold Mine in Nth Queensland and also Porgera Gold Mine in PNG. Scott is currently in charge of the companies projects in Agriculture, Timber, Oil and Gas, Mining, Hydraulic Engineering, Water Control and Rural Based Consultancy, as well as overseeing the administration of company finances. This added income to the locals is a significant contributor to the local economy and therefore the people in the Highlands of PNG. UPDATE-Recently Signature Poultry has grown the first commercially produced free range eggs in the PNG Highlands. It has also recently installed the first poultry stock feed mill in the Highlands of PNG and in September 2017 it is expected that the first commercially grown free range broilers grown out under coffee trees will be produced also making it the first to achieve this in the region. It is also thought that this concept is a world first. In August 2017 the hatchery and poultry processing plant will also be completed.All these projects are of great benefit to the PNG people including increased protein intake, employment and financial security to the region.
