The Director of Strategic Development actively works with the Special Forces Command, Executive Director, as well as the Board of Directors to establish a long term outlook for the Green Beret Foundation and the Special Forces community. By continuously reviewing and gathering data to understand who the GBF serves, the Director of Strategic Development utilizes this data to develop solid strategies to further support identified challenges and gaps. Growing the Green Beret Foundation’s Network:Caring for America’s Quiet Professionals is the focus of the Green Beret Foundation and in order to accomplish the mission, the Director of Strategic Development continues to build and grow our network and resources through events, participation, and public private/partnerships.Awareness is also one of the main tasks of the Director of Strategic Develop. Orbis Operations is a leading irregular warfare consulting firm focused on conflict and post-conflict zones with a particular expertise in Southwest Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.Program Manager of Special Operations Forces Advance Situational Awareness Training (SOFSAT). Responsible for leading, directing and overseeing special operations specific courses, providing Program Management, ensuring instructors are meeting the published standards and that students comprehend and succeed in the course. Facilitated learning in the classroom and field training environment using a variety of teaching methodologies. Designed training and instruction based on seminar-style academic delivery, paired with photo and video practical applications and followed by increasingly complex field training and live-action range scenarios. Training of Instructors covering the course introduction, practical exercises, and computer-assisted instructions. Developed and designed instruction to special operations personnel based on a Program of Instruction covering the six primary domains of SOFSAT of Kinesics, Heuristics, Geographics, Proxemics, Biometrics, & Atmospherics.

Recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in the theory, doctrine, and practice of Counterinsergency (COIN) operations. Provided advice and detailed reports on the COIN performance of personnel and organizations in theater directly to General Petraeus and General Allen, Commander of ISAF. Developed and propose testing, fielding and implementation of COIN solutions including (but not limited to) new tactics, equipment, technology, training, doctrine and concepts. Provided COIN field advice and assistance as needed to a two star General Officer Regional Command Headquarters and Staff as well as tactical units to improve operational performance. Collected, refined, disseminated, monitored and assessed COIN best practices in theater directly to the ground forces.

Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Director of US Special Operation Command's Interagency Task Force (IATF) at MacDill AFB, FL. Provided subject matter expertise and leadership on counter-terrorism activities supporting unique intelligence, operations, inter-agency planning and collaboration of U.S. government strategic, special operations, counter-terrorism missions. Responsible for the planing and oversight of a $36 million annual budget. Provided leadership and mentoring for over 143 senior field grade special operations officers, service members, senior federal agency representatives, and contract personnel engaged in strategic planning and coordination in support of the Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO). Additionally, served as the Special Operation Command's Crisis Action and Time Sensitive Planning Sergeant Major for the US SOCOM Commander during all emergency and emerging overseas contingency operation utilizing Special Operation Forces. Board Member and Operational Advisor to the Director of Special Operation Command’s Science and Technology who broadened Special Operation’s technology outreach and brought rapid low cost, highly effective solutions as well as innovative sensitive technologies in support of Counter Terrorism, Village Stability Platforms, and other Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO). Establish the Command’s Public Private Partnerships program that harnessed the collaborative power of public / private relationships with Fortune 500 companies. Lead a cross sector economic and development community of interest supporting Special Operations in Afghanistan as well as capabilities that were integrate into IATF’s global problem set. Represented the Special Operations Command for the 2010 Department of Defense’s Strategic Multilayer Assessment in the areas of counter insurgency, grey environments, development and stability operations.

Considered a seasoned Special Forces soldier who specialized in Counter Terrorism, Irregular Warfare, and Personnel Recovery Operations in the Middle East. One of the first to immediately deploy following the tragic events of 9/11 to OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM in Afghanistan and later for the invasion of Iraq with three tours in OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM overall and and one in Africa as the Master Assaulter for the Commander's InExtremist Forces. Lead numerous direct combat operations utilizing the full spectrum of special operations tactics, equipment, and techniques. Master Assaulter Served as the Senior Tactical Advisor to the US Central Command Commander’s In Extremist Force known as the CIF. Developed CIF Company Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) currently utilized during combat operations. Specialized in Counter Terrorism training plans and implemented training strategies, standards and policies for all elements assigned to the 5th Special Forces Group. Developed the Period of Instruction (POI) for the 5th SFG (A) Special Forces Advance Urban Combat (SFAUC) Detachment. Special Forces Advance Urban Combat Course Senior InstructorResponsible for Training, Equipping, and Advising all of the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Operational Detachment Alphas (ODAs), Operational Detachment Bravos (ODBs), and Battalion Support Elements in preparation for deployment during OEF OIF I, II, and III. Managed over 1000 personnel in various training skills to be extremely successful in ever changing combat operations and developed procedures to integrate all multi facet training enablers, live and simulated training. Spearheaded and designed multiple training exercises that became training standard for future Special Operations during OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM and OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. Trained National Level Iraqi Counter Terrorist Forces and local Indigenous security elements during the height of combat operations in 2004.
