Dunlin Alpha Platform

I am senior Operator technician on the Dunlin Alpha. I currently carry out CRO duties. I am experienced and competent in the operations of Oil, water injection, gas and utility systems. I have also stood in as operational shift supervisor when the work load has dictated this. I have worked on fixed platforms and FPSO’s.Having worked extensively within offshore and onshore environments, I have exceptional knowledge of production operations and complex process systems as well as process troubleshooting. I carry out first line maintenance and work with permit to work systems. I am an Area Authority as well as Isolating Authority. I prepare and execute Isolations for plant maintenanceI am Safety conscious, motivated and proactive in day to day tasks. A strong team player able to adapt to the challenges of a fast moving environment with changing priorities, confident to take on ownership of areas or tasks and maintain and deliver with safe results. The ability to work safely and time manage in an unsupervised environment. Flexible in terms of helping with manning and overtime. I am responsible in the training of new operational personnel.I am proficient in the application of isolations, carrying out PBU tests, flushing and purging to prepare the equipment for maintenance. Experienced working with P&ID’s. Return of equipment to safe operations by performing line walks, pressure and leak testing. Completing the relevant paperwork to the standard of the ISSOW system.Authorised gas tester involved in breaking containment throughout the plant and confined space entry. Leg authorised. I am a member of the ERT and a safety representative.
