Provided consulting, project estimation and construction management services to manufacturing and municipal clients for their aging infrastructure and facilities. Highlight: Eliminated waste by enhancing existing equipment operations. While working for a Pittsburgh Company, re-engineered an old conveyor system that was losing product at a transfer point, resulting in product loss and extra manpower for clean up at end of shift. Modified equipment to run more efficiently. Eliminated product waste and workforce OT, saving $800K annually.Highlight: Renegotiated bids with contractors to save additional $400K+. Contracted to oversee all bidding and negotiations for a Mississippi Company. Authored all bid documents, mandating pre-bid meeting for all trades to answer questions. Analyzed quotes and negotiated with two lowest bidders for each trade, saving the Company an additional 18%+.
