Director Of It Infrastructure And Operations
The Director of IT (Information Technology) Infrastructure and Operations provides leadership in the day-to-day maintenance and operation for compute, storage, voice, video, data networks and endpoint device lifecycle management, equipment provisioning, and implementation for infrastructure to support business needs, and finally, lead IT’s support organization to maximize employee productivity. This is a functional role that requires combining industry knowledge of best practices with day-to-day management of internal and outsourced Technical Support and Infrastructure Operations. This role must ensure Firm IT is providing efficient and effective technical support services to every level within the Trust and its constituents. They have a solid technical background while able to manage and motivate people. The individual will be experienced in creating and implementing IT infrastructure and operations policies and systems that will meet the Firm’s objectives.The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company.RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee all technology operations (e.g., systems, storage, network, endpoints lifecycle management, equipment provisioning, technical support) and evaluate them according to established goals• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the FIT Director and upper management• Analyze the business requirements of all service areas to determine their technology needs and propose necessary recommendations• Purchase cost-effective technological equipment and software necessary to meet technical requirements driven by business objectives • Manage to expenditures and manage to the established budget • IT Vendor Management• Collaborate with BU leaders to manage and identify solutions that are secure, costly, and efficient within a highly operational and flexible model
