Working at Size? has allowed me to engage with some of the most iconic footwear and clothing companies in the world, such as, adidas, Nike, Puma, Stussy and Edwin. Working in-store has helped me gain an in-depth understanding of what consumers like and why. Merchandising products visually in-store, and marketing products online via various social media platforms, has helped me to clinically identify USP's that effectively reach out and capture consumers' desires. As my role as supervisor I have demonstrated outstanding product knowledge and excellent customer service skills. On a weekly basis I am held accountable for the daily running of the store. Duties include: preparing for store open and close, delegating tasks for the employees, calibrate sales figures and take part in regional conference calls.

Working in a independent shop has strengthened my ability to make deadlines; I am quick to learn new skills and this lead to further responsibility. I delivered outstanding customer service, which in turn helped build a rapport with returning customers acquiring specialist knowledge.

When I first started at Luke 1977 it was an extremely new brand to Cardiff, which needed to be made aware to the target consumers. This was helped by a Luke 1977 blog- which myself and a fellow colleague created. The blog featured; a Look book, information about the team working in store and updates of all new stock. During the construction and up-keep of the blog and whilst working in store, I was able to submerge myself into the Luke 1977 culture. This helped me significantly by giving me a passion for the product that I was selling. During this time, I constantly delivered outstanding customer service and gave each customer a great experience.

My time at Hollister Co enabled me to work towards set targets and goals. In this, developing time management was essential. Collecting shipment was a daily task, whilst taking responsibility for processing individual items, which were then organised into the high volume stockroom. One of the biggest challenges during my time at Hollister Co was working as a team to organise the stores seasonal update. This tried and testing my ability to work under pressure to successfully complete the high demand and expectations of the company. I was offered an MIT (Manager In Training) from the Area Manager once I graduated.

Working for Marks & Spencer gave me valuable experience in developing my negotiation and diplomacy skills. My responsibilities within this role were client facing which helped to develop my ability to communicate with the public, which in turn increased my confidence. I also handled cash and card transactions, whilst working under the pressure of being very busy.
