I am a trained aerospace engineer currently working at Lockheed Martin on the F-35 Sustainment team where I analyze and make determinations on the mission capability of F-35s across the world. Experience in position requires knowledge for aircraft subsystems, supply chain, and maintainability. In the pursuit of streamlining processes, I have developed practical and applied knowledge in developing new tools in Microsoft VBA and Python. My education background comes from a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. My passion for continued learning and expertise is in aircraft design with an especial interest in new and upcoming air vehicle types. I have developed my skills after graduation from university through short courses on UAV design and hypersonic air-breathing vehicle design. In a previous position, I developed skills in mechanical design and modeling, including integration and test of mechanism assemblies in an opto-mechanical design role. In this role, I developed test tooling for rapid manufacture utilizing SOLIDWORKS for modeling and SOLIDWORKS Simulation for verification before manufacture. Utilizing close communication with the manufacturing team, and GD&T, Designs were developed under time and under budget. This while developing the ability to work well under pressure and time constraints.
