I’m the Alberta Account Manager for Xtronics representing twenty lines across Canada. These include IDEC, APEM, EIS Cable and Sola Power Conditioners/Power Supplies. We design in products with Engineers and OEMs. Plus work with our Electrical and Electronic distributors to grow their business.

Vanco is an Electrical distributor with their main focus being OEM accounts and panel shops. As Account Manager I managed key OEM accounts for Vanco focusing on account growth. Vanco’s largest line is ABB (France) covering low to medium voltage applications. Successfully designed in product applications with Vanco’s diverse customer base.

Design in product from Carlo Gavazzi - Italy to customers in the Oilpatch, Power Controls and Automation areas.

Product representative for five divisions of Honeywell including their Explosion Proof Switches and Pressure products for Alberta and Saskatchewan. Duties included: weekly reports, “design in” opportunities and working with distributors of Honeywell to train staff on new and existing product offerings. Attend internet and in person training from major suppliers. Review customer requirements and recommend product that will perform as per their specifications. Resolve possible product misapplication issues and recommend design changes.

Financially responsible for the management of the Alberta MRO branches including sales and warehouse staff reporting directly to the Vice President of Arrow Advantage in New York. Duties included forecasting and planning of account base with quarterly reviews and monthly P&L statement reviews, as well as daily reporting of sales activity from all sales groups plus warehouse operations. Expense and record control, supplier meetings, weekly sales and branch meetings were completed. Worked with the warehouse groups to ensure products were delivered in a timely efficient manner for large customer such as Syncrude and Suncor. Attended sales conferences that included Harvard case studies with Harvard professors. Worked with staff through four ownership changes including four different computer systems.
