I have worked with products utilizing extruded aluminum and plastic, stamped and formed sheet metal parts, metal die-castings, and injection molded plastic to name just a few. I have designed and developed new products with unique shapes and materials utilizing milled wood, decorative laminate, UV curable adhesives, edge-lit light guides, and thermoformed plastic diffusers. And I have integrated LED technologies into both new and existing platforms.

Key member of a self-directed, multi-disciplinary research and development team included research of new markets, technologies, materials, customer needs and perceptions, product definition and design, and project management. I directed and participated in interviews, forums, and surveys with industry representatives and end users to guide future product development. The team developed new applications and products for linear fluorescent lamps.
