Working manager for highly specialized, technical services team, supporting global specialty fuel additives. Support customer requirements for gasoline, diesel and biofuels performance additives, such as detergents, friction modifiers, cold flow improvers, lubricity additives and corrosion inhibitors. Specialty additive are utilized in refineries.

• Application Engineer – Cutting and Grinding Fluids.
• Work with business development teams to provide proven, cost effective and timely solutions to customer process and product application problems.
• Develop and recommend technical solutions that optimize product performance to sustain long term relationships with customers.
• Assist product development and product management with testing of new and existing metalworking products at customer sites.
• Lead troubleshooting and problem solving cases involving root cause analysis investigations.
• Support business development teams in acquisition of new business by delivering technical presentations at prospect accounts.

• Product Manager – Cutting and Grinding FluidsResponsible for portfolio management of approximately 250 products with $70M in revenue including product development and launch, pricing and margin management and execution.
• Determine price points for products based on understanding customer needs and competitive products in market place.
• Recommend pricing actions based on continuous margin review of product lines and dynamic raw material supply.
• Participate on cross functional teams to mitigate business risk due to critical raw material shortages.
• Develop segment offers that align with customer requirements and expectations in the automotive, bearing, and aerospace markets.
• Participate on cross functional teams to develop and introduce new product technology into the marketplace, such as environmentally green coolants and lubricants.

• Program Coordinator
• Provide management for the Ford Motor Company Total Fluids (TFM) Management program. Program required managing a 6 person staff consisting of engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Responsibility for approximately $2.2M in sales revenues and delivering $200K per annum in guaranteed process improvements to Ford Motor Co.
• Utilize Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive cost saving initiatives within Castrol and Ford Motor Company.
• Take all appropriate actions to meet our Quality Policy expectations and to maintain the BP/Castrol Quality system.
