About Scott Parker, P.E.

Mr. Parker currently works part time for RMEC Environmental, Inc as a Principal Engineer supporting various regulatory projects in their portfolio. Previously he worked for Ovintiv Oil & Gas for 13 years and retired in 2021. During his tenure at Ovintiv, he worked on projects in seven states mainly focused on management of civil construction and engineering related to pads, roads, frac pits, reclamation and stormwater. Additional duties have also included well site facility construction and production engineering. He has field experience in the Eagleford and Permian basins in Texas as well as the San Juan, TMS, Piceance, DJ and Uintah basin areas. Prior to employment at Ovintiv/Encana he spent 15 years working for MWH (a multi-national consulting engineering and construction firm) on a wide range of projects in North and South America. His focus was design and construction management for a number of oil & gas, mining, municipal, and federal clients. Some of his past projects included: produced water treatment system design/installation, mining wastewater treatment design, municipal wastewater design/construction and environmental remediation. The roles he assumed during these projects included Design Engineer, Resident Engineer, Construction Superintendent, QA/QC coordinator, and Health and Safety officerHe has worked on numerous design-build projects and is accustom to executing design changes to help maintain schedule and budget on fast-track projects. He also has experience with permitting and compliance issues and has interfaced with various state and federal agencies throughout his career.Using this skill set, Mr. Parker is able to execute projects from the early permitting and conceptual design phases through final design, construction, and O&M and is comfortable working in a variety of roles whether it is in an office or field setting.
