Civil Construction and Engineering Management for Encana’s Piceance Field near Rifle, ColoradoDuties: Manage a seven person staff responsible for all civil construction projects in the Piceance Field which encompasses over 800,000 leased acres in a 7500 square mile area (North and South Piceance Fields and Rangely). The civil team is in charge of all pad and road construction and associated maintenance as well as site reclamation and stormwater work. In addition, they are responsible for well connects in South Piceance field which includes all mechanical work necessary to bring the wells to production.

Engineering Manager for Encana’s North Piceance, Hunter Mesa and High Mesa Produced Water Management Projects near Rifle, ColoradoProject Scopes: North Piceance – Pilot testing a DAF system and polishing filters to treat flowback water from the upstream field operations as well as water stored in the North Fork storage pond and conceptual design of the full-scale treatment facility.Hunter and High Mesa Sites – Conceptual and full-scale design of an upgrade to the existing produced water treatment and distribution systems. MONTGOMERY WATSON: May 1994 to June 1999Field Engineer, Operable Unit 9 North - Hill AFB, UT Project Scope – Conducted an environmental investigation of 300 plus facilities in the northern half of Hill AFB. Duties – Field Superintendent during the investigation. Responsibilities included Coordinating with subcontractors, Hill AFB building managers, surveyors, and utilities during drilling and cone penetrometer operations. Other duties included groundwater mapping, geologic cross-section evaluations and environmental sampling.Summary of Additional Engineering Projects:• Provo Towne Mall Methane Extraction System - Provo, UT. Duties – Process designer including pipe sizing and radius of influence calculations for the system, O&M, methane extraction calculations, and regulatory reporting for extraction system on the 40-acre commercial site built on a former landfill.• Process Engineer, Amoco Wastewater Treatment Facility - Salt Lake City, UT.Duties – Analyzed various treatment alternatives and provided a cost estimate with the findings to treat sludge at the refinery’s wastewater treatment plant.• Soil Vapor Extraction System Designer at Operable Unit 3 - Hill AFB, UT. Duties – Equipment and pipe sizing, design specifications, design drawings, and system startup/O&M support for the design a 300 cfm SVE system to treat TCE contaminated soil.• Project Manager/Engineer, UST Treatability Studies - Hill AFB, UT. Duties - Managed the O&M, performance evaluations, and long-term system monitoring of 15 bioventing/SVE treatability study sites at Hill AFB.

Field QC Engineer - Bear Track Mine, Salmon, ID Project Scope – Construction of a leach process gold mining facility.Duties – Subcontractor compliance inspections during construction of the ore crushing Facility and quality assurance oversite during the leach pad installation, including compaction tests and foundation inspections. Reason for leaving – job shut down for the winter.
