I’ve had ample management experience in past roles such as General Manager, Business Manager, Assistant Manager and Shift Manager. I’m a skilled and energetic leader with training in workplace safety, people management, organisational leadership, food safety and inventory management.Becoming an Operations Consultant has been an exciting and challenging change in my journey working at Kaizen Restaurant Ltd. My role has now evolved from running just one restaurant to overseeing seven restaurants, managing a team of 8 General/ Business Managers and their respective teams. Overall, I manage/support the management of around 1000 employees. This involves me providing strong leadership support to ensure each restaurant operates at very high standards and achieves excellent Business Results, keeping staff and customers happy.I take pride in the work I’ve achieved in staff development over my years at Kaizen Restaurants, I’ve coached and encouraged the learning and training of employees leading to their promotions in the business from ‘Crew Member’ up to higher management positions. I am also well accomplished in many other aspects of management including financial control, maintaining internal and external relationships, manager discipline and performance reviews, overseeing sales projections, events management, and staff safety to name just a few.On a personal level, I am a family man who loves spending time with my wife and two wonderful children. I am a huge lover of nature, and any time off will always be spent with my family outdoors in local nature reserves, woods, or National Trusts. Bird Watching has become a bit of a new hobby for me and my wife, largely inspired by my son’s passion for all things bird-related.I am a keen runner, and when at my best I can run 5k in under 20 minutes, I have recently achieved a PB Half Marathon time of 1:35:02, which I am very proud of. Alongside side this, I enjoy swimming having once been a lifeguard and I love Football, both playing and watching it.
