In this position I am responsible for overseeing all warehouse functions with a primary focus on daily shipping operations. Manage a staff of 12 employees in various positions. Responsible for inventory control, receiving, shipping, operations, hiring and also ordering of essential supplies for daily warehouse use.

I was responsible for creating, processing and submitting purchase orders for all drop shipments and special orders for our customer base. I worked alongside a sales staff of 15 in order to accomplish this process while also building and maintaining relationships with various manufacturers. Also included other various accounts payable and accounts receivable duties. This included organizing purchase orders by manufacturer, credit card/account billing of customers and also sorting and also sending all customer invoices.

I Started at Nickels as a warehouseman in August 2006 and continued through December 2011. I then participated in an internship at the University of Tennessee athletic department before starting back at Nickels in July of 2011.As a warehouseman I was responsible for selecting and packaging of orders for shipment. Also responsible for the receiving and allocation of incoming inventory. Gained years of experience operating a forklift, reach fork and order selector.

The Johnson City Cardinals are a short season, rookie league affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. Worked as game day staff responsible for all general game day operations on a rotational basis in four categories; ticket sales, merchandise sales, concessions and promotions. Also worked in pregame set-up for various events, concession stocking and inventory and also postgame grounds crew experience.

Volunteer intern at University of Tennessee Athletic Department for five and a half months to complete my Sports Management degree. Worked alongside Men’s Associate Athletic Director Desiree Reed-Francois; also with event managers Angie Doyle, Amy Silverthorn, and Tara Brooks for basketball, baseball, football and tennis. Aided in research projects and other various duties for Men’s Associate AD Desiree Reed-Francois. Event management duties and responsibilities included: scoreboard operation, game management, event planning, hospitality, & operations.
