The Ontario Teachers’ Federation (OTF) has been representing the professional interests of teachers in Ontario’s publicly-funded education system since 1944. As the umbrella organization for the four teacher Affiliates - elementary, secondary, Catholic and Francophone - OTF represents all members of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP), as a co-sponsor of OTPP with the Ontario Government, while the Affiliates represent Ontario’s teachers for collective bargaining purposes. The Secretary-Treasurer is the senior executive officer of OTF.
