May 2019 to Present: ISS Labour: Finance ManagerI was engaged to manage change and improve the efficiency of Finance Department after a restructure. I manage 6 staff: Transport Administrator, Purchase Ledger Assistant, Management Accountant, Payroll Supervisor and 2 Apprentices including performance management and review of training needs. I have supported and mentored 4 team members through AAT and CIMA qualifications. I review vehicle hire centralisation, analyse fuel card use, develop enhanced reporting, and feed-back findings to assist management decision making. I review employee resource allocation and improve reporting to assist management decision making. I prepare and review Monthly Management Accounts. July 2013 to February 2019: Paragon Interiors: Various to Head of Finance I joined the company as Finance Manager and progressed to Financial Controller. Upon resignation of the Finance Director, took over all duties required as Head of Finance and reported to Group FD. Head of Finance (2017 to 2019)I compiled and reviewed Management Accounts, all Balance Sheets, Variance Analysis with notes and Bad Debt reporting. I recommended provisions for monthly Board Meeting. I supported the Project Tender team with financial information which was presented to the Sales Director ◼️ Developed report to manage debtors and improve cash-flow. Over 3-months debt was reduced from £3m to £600k.Financial Controller (2016 to 2017)I managed 7 staff, including task allocation, coaching, conducting appraisals, and agreeing training courses. I mentored junior staff and provided exposure to areas of experience as required. I finance business partnered, challenged costs and revenues with project stakeholders, highlighted any area of improvement where costs could be saved or included in future tenders to ensure Gross Profit margins were maintained. I dealt with Auditors on preparation of Annual Accounts, dealing with all follow up questions to ensure timely conclusion for sign off and led all HMRC compliance visits. I oversaw financing of Assets to release capital to the business.◼️ Implemented new expenses system using Concur, rolled this out with training and subsequent support to employees. This reduced the processing time within finance by 5 days.Finance Manager (2013 to 2016)I prepared Management Accounts, raised bank payments, prepared CIS return and checked subcontractor statuses, reconciled balance sheet codes and controlled Fixed Asset register.

IMarch 2012 to July 2013: Synseal: Integration Accountant I was employed to integrate Nottinghamshire operations after a buyout by a capital investment group with a subsidiary in Blackburn. I managed the impact of employee redundancies after the buyout and the subsequent reallocation of tasks. I worked with Senior Management on site to confirm costs. I ensured all assets were logged and transfer pricing was agreed.
