After owning a small construction business and gaining my Civil Engineering Bachelor's degree in the United States, I moved to New Zealand seeking new experiences in my life and career. After spending four years working in the sunny Bay of Plenty, I moved to the Southern Alps to feed the sandflies (and do a little engineering). With the sandflies partially satiated, I've returned to the Bay of Plenty in my new role as Senior Civil Engineer with Stratum Consultants.Using Autodesk Civil 3D software, I have designed complex civil infrastructure, landforms, and environmental management plans for a variety of Land Development projects while also writing and administering construction contracts. I enjoy working within my team to produce quality designs, procure consents, and manage our projects. I look forward to meeting tomorrow's challenges head-on in my next chapter as a Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand.
