Oversee the marketing activity and responsible for managing marketing budget and signing off expenditure.Head a small team to bring new releases to market, pre-release marketing activity to raise product awareness, this includes our own products and those from third parties, promoting the products online and direct to our customer database (currently around 65k). We will also promote the back catalogue range and run regular sales/offers on all products and ranges. Using Content Management Systems to add products to the websitesThe monitoring of sales numbers, sales patterns and revenue. This is always done with an eye on our monthly and annual target.Responsible for PR and working and liaising with the specialist media. This includes regular press release circulation, subsequent work and ongoing press coverage.Implementing online marketing strategies and working on fresh initiatives on all aspects of e-commerce.Bigger picture marketing including organising and running the October Flight Simulation show. This is the largest flight simulation show in the world.Sourcing of digital artwork where required and managing design and print process, including artwork for point of sale and digital packaging. Social Media activity including engagement with customers and FS community. Engaging in conversations that can hopefully capture leads and sales. Also safeguarding our online reputation as this is something that we have built up over the years with Just Flight and Just Trains and have gained an enviable reputation for quality and customer service – something we work hard to retain. Our Facebook audience has grown incredibly over the past decade, we now have over half a million followers of this social media space.
