Wastwater Process and Planning Mr. Phipps has performed wastewater process evaluations ranging from meeting secondary treatment requirements to limit of technology nutrient removal requirements. His experience includes biological process evaluations, development of preliminary design documents, and authoring 20 year master plans and preliminary engineering reports. His areas of specific expertise include enhanced nutrient removal technologies for nitrogen removal, specifically denitrification filters, and aeration system evaluations. Based on his design experience, wastewater evaluations are focused on the ability to implement the technology or unit process in the existing wastewater treatment plant, including plant hydraulics; energy requirements; constructability; maintenance of plant operations during construction; plant maintainability; and operational strategies.
