Regional Operations - supervising 8-10 facilities, working special projects and poking my nose into things here and there.Responsibilities include:- Day to day operations of multiple facilities. We manufacture eyewear orders for private eyecare professionals and optical retailers. Responsible for all aspects of facility operations includingg customer engagement and order growth, people activities in the facility, P&L, efficiency improvements, safety, compliance, order quality, equipment maintenance, productivity, employee engagement, resource planning, and growth strategy.- Special projects- Business resource groups member

I supervise three facilities in US: optical labs in Crawfordsville, IN; Fayetteville, AR; and Dallas, TX. Our optical labs produce the eyewear for all Walmart and Sam's Club Vision Centers in the US and Puerto Rico. My responsibilities include:- Day to day operations of these facilities. We have 24-hour operations with over 75 salaried Management Associates and 1,700 Associates.- Providing strategic direction for our area.- Interaction with senior leadership in Operations, Compliance, Sam's, Asset Protection, Human Resources, and Finance.- Complete P&L responsibility for the facilities.- Equipment evaluation and purchase.Past Experience includes:- Director of Technical Services, Optical Labs: led the Home Office support team for Walmart labs, responsible for strategic direction as well as supervising Maintenance, Systems, and Process Control (Six Sigma)- District Manager, Optical Operations: leader of 15 Vision Centers responsible for day-to-day operations including sales and profitability; hiring and supervising Vision Center Managers; recruiting, staffing, and coordinating Optometrists.- Human Resource Manager, Optical: responsible for Human Resources of the Optical Division, including: advising Operations on people issues; advising and enforcing People policies; staffing and wage guidelines.

Supervised 15 Vision Centers and managed Optometrist relationships in those facilities. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the facilities, recruiting Optometrists and Licensed Opticians, supervising and hiring Vision Center Managers, liason with Div. 01 Management.
