I was employed on the Shell GPS Contract as Rigging & Lifting Coordinator my duties weree to look after all rigging & lifting activities on 3 shell gas plant sites Mossmorran Braefoot bay & St Fergus making sure that we have an ongoing competency based assessment programme in place and monitoring training requirements

I was involved with MCP-01 decommissioning project i spent 8 months in Norway working onshore in the office writing procedures and lifting plans. Then offshore as rigging superintendent during the MCP-01 heavy lifts. After MCP -01 i was employed as onshore Loler focal point for various contracts in the North Sea for Aker solutions.

My role was rigging superintendent for sigma 3 on the shell Brent field. Involved in the upgrade project on all 4 Brent platforms as well as the impact project carrying out extensive work in legs of Bravo/Charlie/ Delta carrying out refurbishment of existing cell fill lines and valve change outs installation of steelwork to form new deck levels installing.
