The combat of law can wear one out... but that history generates a wealth of experience with people, conflict resolution, communication and the application of varied knowledge. It is simply time to energetically dive into a new career. After two decades of self-employment, Lowe's offered me the opportunity to reinsert and reacquaint myself with a broader work experience while engaging with colleagues and customers from a diverse swath of folk.My years assisting clients in resolving sometimes devastating life happenings has prepared me for this next frontier, either by motivating a classroom of students or by reaching to the underserved through strategic and powerful program administration and service. I quickly assimilate new and complex systems with high learning agility and intelligence.I present difficult materials in a way others easily grasp. I prioritize respect for other’s views and encourage relational engagement.I focus on relationship-building with colleagues, students, clients and donors to further objectives and outcomes.I am passionate for the cause of veterans, fellow citizens who live in food or nutritional deprivation, students and children from crisis-driven environments - all who face the daunting challenges of life with fewer skills and opportunities in their tool chest.
