I've spent the last six years slowly building a writing portfolio and gaining experience. I started by creating my own content through a self-made blog in September 2014 before getting a five month internship at the St. Mary's Independent newspaper in September 2015. Shortly after that, I was brought on to the Nation Network in March 2016, where I have since spent the last four years gaining experience writing about sports and building my own brand. During that time, I've also learned more about both journalism and marketing in the Digital Media & Journalism program at Wilfrid Laurier University, and learned more about marketing in my position as a Marketing Associate at the Wilfrid Laurier University Students' Union.
