• Supervise quality lab, providing leadership and guidance to quality technicians• Lead calibration activities for all inspection material throughout the entire plant• Perform and guide technicians through PPAP activities, including control plan updates, first article inspections, PFMEA updates, Gage R&R activities, etc.• Update procedures to better represent the manufacturing processes in place for the company• Train, guide, and support technicians with CMM PC-DMIS programming and operation of CMM, as well as lead programmer• Work on a manufacturing team for customer complaints, as well as creating and updating corrective action reports and completing 5 Why reports for customers• Provide support to the engineering and die correction team with inspection reports of material for corrections to die’s• Research new inspection equipment to stay up to date with newest technology and practices, as well as ordering new inspection equipment

• Provide leadership to direct reports in accordance with company core values.• Facilitate problem-solving and process improvement processes with manufacturing and the customer to achieve resolution and elimination of current product issues.• Train, mentor and develop direct reports and peers to be skilled experts in the application of Quality tools.• Ensure that testing standards, procedures, and equipment provide reliable results and prevent shipment of off quality products.• Guide personnel through new practices.• Direct personnel in quality assurance inspection and testing, to assure that establishment and regulatory standards are met.• Review corrective actions and implement preventative measures to ensure product is free of defects.

• Provide product demonstrations of hardware and software to prospective customers.• Consult with customers to determine hardware, software, or system specification requirements.• Assist the regional sales team, providing product recommendations for customer specifications.• Developing, preparing, and conducting customer training classes.• Provide technical support to customers, onsite and over the phone.• Prepare detailed technical specifications for quotations.

• Ensure all personnel follow the control plan specifications, as well as updating control plans as needed.• Inspection of product at finish saws, guaranteeing the product is free from defects and nonconforming material as needed.• Work on preparing PPAP packages and first articles.o Control Plans, DTRs, PSWs, FMEAs• Operation and programming of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).o On fabrication project teams that involved the programming and operation of a CMM for new fabrication parts.o Routine inspections for fabrication parts.o Collaboration with CNC supervisors to make changes to programs to ensure part specifications are met.• Inspection of final product to ensure quality of product meets or exceeds company and customer expectations.• Monitor customer portals for reports of product defects and provide initial response to customer.
