Hi having spent 23 yrs in and around the infrastructue I have worked on most aspects of the railway from p way and re-newals to both BCS and TRS trains with Amey Colas, patrolling and safety critical. Then having spent a few successfull years with Primat (Amec) in a safety supervision role for Colas Rail track renewals and survey departments i was then offered a permanent position by Colas to continue my current role along with being trained from scratch in house to become a rail infrastructure surveyor, a role which i have now been in since Feb 2015.After a re-structure in the survey dept in 2018 i was the seconded to Bristol Track Renewals depot where i have remained in a Team Leader/POS/ Core ES and Site Supervisor role when required. Also additional duties of in house CRT, ALO Co- Ordinator and Track Inspections when required.August 2022 has now seen me move into a P-way Supervisor Role within the Bristol Depot responsible for the delivery of the jobs allocated within the Team from all aspects from the Prep all the way through to the Core works and associated follow up.
