Joining in 2001, I have appreciated and enjoyed many challenges that have been thrown my way. I started my career with PDS as a Sales Support Co-ordinator, executing account management responsibilities, learning about the trade and providing internal support to the external sales representatives. As the company grew, so did my duties. During this time, I enjoyed learning and understanding how to obtain new business, retaining existing business and the operational processes both internally and externally. Achieving the role as Commercial Director in 2011, I am now responsible for the continued development of the business. Ensuring that not only are customer goals met, that their expectations are also surpassed. During my time at De'Longhi, I was part of the "Spares" team who were responsible for dispatching replacement parts for various products to end users and service partners. These items could be requested via telephone or multiple orders from service engineer partners via fax/email. Deadlines were critical and a quick yet efficient response was required. Good telephone manner, customer service skills and attention to detail where mandatory within the role.
